      <description>&lt;p&gt;Seems quite crudely derogatory towards the U.S. and contradicts many of my priors.  They argue that the reason for the revolution was primarily economic freedom from Britain&amp;rsquo;s meddling and &lt;em&gt;not&lt;/em&gt; for democracy, backing this up with examples of many seemingly undemocratic parts of the government (supreme court, electoral college, etc.).  They also argue that it was primarily a war waged by the wealthy for which the poor were used as weapons.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
